I'm going to set a daily goal of 2,000 words/day. To actually reach the NaNo goal of 50k words would be 1,667 words/day. If I can turn out 2,000 words then I should be ahead of the game if I have any 'off' days. Meaning being brain dead and unable to put much down on paper/computer.
For the first time ever, I actually do have a rough outline of the story I'll be working on. I've also done some character creation work.
Now to see if I can clear my desk off, so I'll have a quiet place to work. Where I'm trying for is an Internet free zone. Which means my phone line won't reach the desk, so I can't get on-line to 'just check my mail right quick'.
Wish me luck. LOL

Well, I failed last year's NaNo horribly. I didn't even make 10k of it. I hope to do better this year. I'll be working on a series of short stories that are connected. Anyway, my goal for each of them is around 10k words and to actually win NaNo this time around.
I now have Road Runner, so there isn't an Internet free zone any longer, but I do have some people I can Word War with that might get my word count up.
Wish me luck. I'll need it. LOL Oh, and I wish everyone doing NaNo this year good luck as well.
